Founded in 1996, Sinodis is the leading importer and distributor of Good Food in China. Our deep understanding of the food market, coupled with an extensive distribution network and commitment to supply chain quality allows us to build strong brands and growing relationships with partners and clients in China.

History

1996: Foundation of Sinodis (shanghai) Co., Ltd by Jean-Pierre Chesse, CEO.

1997: Exclusive distribution rights for key French suppliers.

1998: Appointed by Carrefour China as the exclusive importer of its products.

2002: Exclusive importer for leading brands from Australia and NZ. Development of our Food Service operation to supply all 4 and 5-stars hotels, restaurants and airline catering.

2003: Opening of our 4-temperatures distribution hubs in Beijing and Shanghai. Launching of leading Italian food manufacturers.

2006: 3rd distribution center: Sinodis Shenzhen. Upgrading of Pastry/Bakery category. Launching of Gourmet category.

2007: Launching of leading UK brand Weetabix. Upgrading of Gourmet category.

2008: 4th distribution center: Sinodis Guanzhou. Launching of leading brands from Austria, Spain, Switzerland. Exclusive supplier to Aramark – the official caterer to the Beijing Olympics. Minority investment from the Rothschild Bank.

2009: Sinodis becomes the first distributor in Shanghai to receive ISO 22000 certification for food safety.
