Founded in 1996, Sinodis is the leading importer and distributor of Western food products in China. A deep understanding of the food market, coupled with an extensive distribution network and a committment to our supply chain quality, has allowed us to develop strong and growing relationships with both partners and clients.

Marketing

Sinodis develops tailor-made marketing strategies for leading international brands in four product categories: dairy, pastry, grocery and gourmet.

Local Market Knowledge
We have become a leader in these categories through our in-depth knowledge of market needs acquired through constant communication with our customers and end users, and analysis of comprehensive sales data. The combined efforts throughout our sales channels in in-store promotions, direct contact with all customers and training / demonstrations, continuously feed Sinodis with the market intelligence required to effectively introduce and develop international brands in the local market.

Brand Building
Following our solid track record in brand building, leading international players continue to entrust Sinodis with their brand management.
We have been able to effectively integrate their products into the local market while maintaining their international identities. Brands are launched and developed according to marketing plans defined and agreed by both Sinodis and its partners.

Repacking
Catering to customers' specific needs, Sinodis marketing team designs and produces packaging in China. Sinodis repeatedly created brand-new SKUs originally not available overseas, winning strong market demand.
We also design combo packs for short-term promotions or long-term sales in the retail network. Our marketing experience and our packaging know-how help us to closely follow and quickly respond to the latest market trends.

Fairs & Events
Sinodis participates in food exhibitions in China to introduce new brands and products to existing customers and to meet with new leads. Being close to our customers in multiple cities in China is a key to understand each region specifics needs and be able to adjust promotion policies.
Meanwhile, Sinodis annual party is now a recognized food event that gathers our foreign partners, our retail and food service customers as well as officials from all government offices involved in food importation. The Sinodis party is a casual and enjoyable moment for China's fine-food community.

Training
A substantial part of our product range requires extensive training and technical skills. Our marketing team works in close coordination with our partners to provide the following support:
In-house product / brand training by Sinodis brand managers to purchasers.
Demonstrations and hands-on training for Chinese professionals conducted by well-known foreign chefs.
Sponsorship of overseas training for local chefs at our partner facilities.

E-Channels
The Sinodis website, www.sinodis.com.cn, provides visitors with a comprehensive catalog of products, constantly updated to reflect our rapidly growing product base. Additionally, Sinodis sends a monthly newsletter to more than 5,000 recipients, highlighting new products, marketing events and promotions. We are also the exclusive distributor in China for the professional magazine "Pastry & Baking".
