Our partner Cap’Fruit organized the 4th edition of Casse-Croute des Chefs, an initiation ceremony for both Chefs and fruit producers, with an international presence of its worldwide partners. We all came together to share our experiences and so create the unbreakable bonds required to achieve a better understanding of the whimsical nature of the land and its fruits. In the past editions, Regis Marcon and Yves Thuries presided over the event as guest Chef of honor, this year we had Philippe Andrieu, Head Pastry Chef of “Maison Laduree”. Moreover Cap’Fruit is celebrating its 10th birthday and this has been an occasion for us to step into the fruit orchards and visit the fruit processing plant. After the celebration, we had a very studious morning with training on Cap’Fruit and its product ranges and then we all tried making the best mousse recipes and cocktails, full of fruits and done with passion! as well as “cerise sur le gateau”. Cap’Fruit took us for a gastronomic dinner in the restaurant of Christian TÊTEDOIE, the 1-star Michelin chef and feted star of Lyon, an amazing chef who has been awarded with the titles of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” MOF and Best Chef in France. Himself and his team have been chosen to represent France for the Bocuse d’Or Europe. We enjoyed the perfect and delicious dishes prepared with an explosion of flavors, a subtle blend of the finest ingredients and a symphony of fruits, which have really exalted our taste buds while enjoying the exceptional panoramic views of Lyon.
