“French Week” was held from June 14th to 21st at Yandang Road in Shanghai. Shanghai French Week is a platform for Chinese people to understand a different dynamic culture, and enjoy French style from fashion to design to authentic French food and wine, in a carnival atmosphere. It was celebrated with many cultural and music events, including an outdoor concert with a famous pop-rock French singer, as well as a “made in France” festival where Sinodis was involved in collaboration with Sopexa selling our range of original imported French products, such as Cheese, Butter, Chocolate, Coffee and Mustard.
This year Sinodis also took part for the first time in the the Sud de France booth as the distributor of Barnier olives. Passers-by could savour the taste of Mediterranean with a selection of different flavours and recipes such as the green olives with Provencal herbs, the famous Niçoise black olives, and delicious sun-dried tomatoes…fantastic flavours for a sunny Summer day! We found more and more Chinese people being attracted to our imported Grocery range and French cheeses, such as Camembert, Brie, Tartare, and also starting to try cheeses with stronger tastes such as goat cheese and blue cheese. We look forward to participating with many more French brands on Yandang Pedestrian Street during French Week in future.
