Communicating across cultures with Good Food!
For thousands of years Beijing has been the symbol of great traditional culture and historical charm, from the Palace Museum to the common streets of the city. Now while maintaining it’s traditional culture, it continues to accept new ideas as it joins the international stage. So please don’t be surprised to see a Beijinger enjoying President Brie to the accompanying music of the Peking Opera!
When I was a student of Beijing International Study University, one of my favorite courses was “Cross Culture Communication”. In 2008. I had been a Chef’s assistant in Maison Boulud and was inspired by the idea that food is an important part of culture and demonstrating people’s passion for life. When I joined Sinodis in 2009, I could finally use my course learnings to create cross culture communication with fine western food.
As a member of our Beijing sales team, I do my best to offer our customers a complete service from new product introduction, to providing recipes and arranging demonstrations, to showing customers how best to use our products. My customer could be a classic western style kitchen Chef or a fusion Chinese food creator in a restaurant, or a bakery producing cakes or even a catering company. I am proud that my customers consider me as not only a salesperson, but also the bridge that connects them to the highest quality products and most advanced food concepts worldwide.
