Chaource AOP La Tradition with Fig Mustard Glaze
Ingredients:
400 g Chaource AOP La Tradition
15 g mustard seeds
200 g mayonnaise
75 g figs mustard
20 g sugar
Season with salt and pepper
Preparation:
1. Dry roast the mustard seeds in a pan with the lid on at a medium heat and allow to cool. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, season and seal air-tight, keep cool until use. Cut cheese into triangles. Pre-heat oven.
2. Spread mustard glaze on the cheese triangles, cover only the thin tips with the mustard glaze. Glaze the cheese triangles under the oven grill.
Our wine recommendation:
The classic accompaniment would be champagne. You can also try a German pinot sparkling wine.
