Recipes
3 WEETABIX, whole wheat biscuits (or vita brits what’s this? If we don’t have this,
let’s not talk about it))
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
125 g butter
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon gelatin
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
100 g dark chocolate
40 g butter
Base.
1. Crush the wheat biscuits, add sugar, coconut,flour and melted butter.
2. Press into a slice tray with the back of a spoon.
3. Bake at 180 C for 25 minutes.
4. Allow to cool.
Filling.
5. Combine the water, sugar and gelatin into a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Allow to cool, add vanilla and then whip until stiff.
7. Pour onto the prepared base.
Topping.
8. Melt chocolate and butter together.
9. Allow to cool without setting yet.
10. Pour onto filling and spread.
11. Allow to set and then cut into slices.
