January. No.71

As the pages of each year flips by, we often pause and take a look back, and appreciate all the support, trust, opportunities and challenges, that we all went through. Still being in one piece should make us appreciate what we have achieved, and all the learnings that we have gathered, the past 12 months. Moving forward, we should be expecting a big baby boom this coming months, as the year of the Dragon starts kicking in on January 23rd! In 2011 alone, SINODIS had the privilege to welcome 8 babies into our colleagues’ lives … a record of some sort that we definitely love keeping track of. Wishing everyone a very fruitful and healthy 2012 Dragon Year!

According to tales and legends, the beginning of Chinese New Year started with the fight against a mythical beast called the Nian (Chinese: 年; pinyin: nián).
