Who
is behind the great food served at buzzing China World ARIA restaurant?
German chef Bernhard
Lermann joined the team last November after a rich experience
in 2 of France's most prestigious establishments, Heberlin and
George Blanc, both awarded with Michelin stars. Last year was
a turning point in Bernhard’s career when the young chef took
the leap into the Beijing jungle to start a new challenging experience
with the Shangri La group. The secret to maintaining the restaurant
at the top level in the rapidly changing Beijing scene: keep the
passion for food.

share his passion but with food lovers from La Chaine des Rotisseurs?
Bernhard concocted for them a unique menu pairing each dish with
music and the finest wines to make an unforgettable journey through
the past. Working in China has already inspired the young chef
with new techniques and tastes, today he is using his flair to
source the best ingredients from far-flung corners of the world:
in August, international visitors will have the chance to discover
his goose liver terrine served with hazelnuts and grapefruit confit.
September brings "special flavors of France" to be the
guests of honor. One of Shangri La’s secrets to their success
