Sinodis is probably the only distribution company in China to combine two large and direct distribution networks, retail and food service.

From 1996, Sinodis followed the fast development of international hypermarket chains in China. Initially located in only one city, Sinodis had to build a nationwide distribution operation to be able to supply these new stores that were opening in almost all regions of China. The main challenge to Sinodis was to overcome the very poor logistic system for the distribution of dry and even more challenging, fresh products.

Year after year, the increase in Sinodis¡¯ business volumes has helped to further improve the quality of distribution and delivery.

Once the national logistic system was in place, Sinodis met the market demand as a quality distributor of imported food. With an existing product range from various countries, Sinodis began to import specific food service products for hotel and restaurant industry. Within only few years, Sinodis became a leading food importer to this network and we now supply all the main international hotel chains in China.
